EDSA - Ang huling habilin
Bigo at talunan daw ang People Power.

The work is very physical and there’s always something different and new in every project,” Amanda said. Amanda grew up a probinsyana and is accustomed to island life. Palau (Republic of Palau)
July 31, 2009Palau, officially the Republic of Palau (Palauan: Beluu er a Belau), is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean, some 500 miles (800 km) east of the Philippines and 2,000 miles (3,200 km) south of Tokyo. Having emerged from United Nations trusteeship (administered by the United States) in 1994, it is one of the world’s youngest and smallest sovereign states. In English, the name is sometimes spelled Belau in accordance with the native pronunciation. It was formerly also spelled Pelew.
While much of Palau’s natural environment remains free of environmental degradation, there are several areas of concern, including illegal fishing with the use of dynamite, inadequate facilities for disposal of solid waste in Koror, and extensive sand and coral dredging in the Palau lagoon. Like the other Pacific island nations, a potential major environmental threat is global warming and the related rising of sea level. Water coverage of low-lying areas is a threat to coastal vegetation, agriculture, and the purity of the nation’s water supply. Palau also has a problem with inadequate water supply and limited agricultural areas to support the size of the population. The nation is also vulnerable to earthquakes, volcanic activity, and tropical storms. Sewage treatment is a problem, along with the handling of toxic waste from fertilizers and biocides.
Palau was also the site for the American reality television program Survivor: Palau, which aired from February 17 to May 15, 2005, the tenth edition of the Survivor franchise. It was also the location of Survivor: Micronesia, the sixteenth edition, which aired from February 7 to May 11, 2008.
Best Answer why Bayani Fernando is the next president of the Philippines
June 10, 2009
There are so many presidentiables today: Noli de Castro, Bayani Fernando, Manny Villar, Mar Roxas, Ping Lacson, Loren Legarda, Dick Gordon, Chiz Escudero, Erap Estrada, Gilbert Teodoro and Among Ed Panlilio
But who is really the best next president? Is Bayani Fernando the better alternative?
1. BF is a good man. He was a sacristan as a young boy and was an Outstanding Boy Scout. He is the only boy in the family and is pampered with enough love so, he will return this love to our people.
2. BF is well bred and nationalistic. He can sing. His name, and name of his sisters (Mayumi, Ligaya) are all native. He named his only child Tala.
3. BF is pro poor. He gave homes to 11, 000 squatters. Recovered the sidewalks for poor people to pass. He exact discipline to rich and poor alike, so that the poor will equalize with the rich. Fix the house of poor people in Metro Guwapo. Provided low cost hostel to poor provincianos who are in Manila in the Port Area.
4. BF is not corrupt. Before he joined politics, he is already super rich with his companies constructing tall buildings in Makati. One lot owner who sold her lot to MMDA for a water pump anti - flood project in Tondo, Grace Dyjamco, said that what BF only requested from her is for her to take good care of the squatters inside their lot - pay them - before the deal was on.
5. BF Gets things Done. Remember before he was the MMDA chairman - traffic was worse, garbage are everywhere..now its all fixed. As a president,he can fix our poverty problem, corruption problem, electoral problem,…he has a way of doing things and its working. You can see results at once.
6. BF is Brave and Heroic. As a young businessman during EDSA Revolution, he sent his construction equipments to EDSA to block the pro-Marcos tanks and protect the people. Colorum buses are protected by Generals..he impounded them, never afraid of the bullets of the general..BF is a type of leader who can die for his people.
7. BF is not social climber. Although he is a super rich person, and married to Mayor Marides Fernando from an old rich family (daughter of industrialist Meneleo Carlos), he loves to mingle with hardworking professionals and his jokes are authentic Marikina masa jokes with original Marikina accent. He maintains his clean and honest way of living. He does not crave for the company of the rich and the powerful.
Noli de Castro for President, Ronnie Puno for Vice President
June 4, 2009
Appearing on television in the Pag-IBIG Fund TV commercials (bought and paid for by the members of Pag-IBIG Fund, most of whom still do not have their own homes) is one thing, but leading a country is a whole other thing.
As things are shaping up, it looks like the emerging Lakas-Kampi super party might field DILG Secretary Ronaldo “Ronnie” Puno as its Vice Presidential candidate and current Vice President Noli De Castro as its Presidential candidate.
And would we really want to have the fair haired boy of the Lopezes to have full control over the highest office in the land?
Think about it. It’s not Noli Boy who will hold reign over the power of Malacanang, it will be the Lopezes.
They already own Meralco which supplies electricity and Maynilad which supplies water. Just try to imagine what they’ll own next.
The things that Manny Pacquiao must do to become an American Icon
May 12, 2009- He just had a grip and grin with former President Clinton but now you can tell your mama that Manny needs to meet up with Obama. Wouldn’t it be a nice and fitting touch if this former resident of an archipelago called Indonesia invited the Favorite Son of an archipelago known as the Philippines to the Formerly White but now Black and White House. Maybe Packy’s kids can romp with Sasha and Malia and I bet Jinkee and Michelle would hit it off. I bet Bob Arum buddy Brian Greenspun could make this happen.
- Oprah, Oprah, Oprah. Manny needs to hit the couch and tell his inspiring rags to riches life story.
- I know he doesn’t follow the NFL but Pacman would do well to hit the Super Bowl scene.
- Take the family to Disneyland and make sure it is pictorially recorded. Mickey Mouse, you’ll notice, moves his rodent head more than Ricky Hatton does.
- Become a dual citizen, swearing allegiance to this country and gladdening the heart of every Fil-Am.
- Go to Canastota, NY, which is a small town treat to visit in June. Sure, Manny won’t be a landslide entrant into the International Boxing Hall Of Fame until five years after ring retirement but he should go now to get the flavor of Ed Brophy’s bastion of fistic accomplishments.
- Celebrate July 4th after becoming a dual citizen and be conspicuously seen eating hot dogs, not real dogs, and enjoying some fireworks. It’s the ultimate American holiday. Repeat after me, Manny…baseball, hot dogs and apple pie.
- More couch surfing action. The Jay Leno and David Letterman late night shows are made to order for the Pinoy Idol.
- Now that he’s sharpening his karaoke skills, how about a guest shot on “American Idol?” I would love to Simon Cowell cower!
- Become a member of Red Sox Nation and abandon those trifling Giants. Why would Manny want to be associated, even tangentially, with BALCO slugger Barry Bonds (you know what I mean, Sugar Shane Mosley). Besides, my Main Man-ny, not only would this warm my heart it would gladden Coach and Boston Boy Freddie Roach. You’re already known as a Shamrockian, meaning a Celtics fan so add in the Olde Town Team and the Patriots as well. I will explain the Bruins and ice hockey some other time, pal. Maybe I will compare a floored Hatton to a Human Zamboni machine, something like that.

JC is the Sole Survivor!
December 13, 2008Regardless of the “Boto ng Bayan,” JC gets away with 5 jury votes against 3. He is 3 million pesos richer tonight, add to his brand new car reward……
season 2?
JC Tiuseco ; Survivor Philippines Winner
December 2, 2008Many internet sites have already divulge about the winner of Survivor Philippines. Some sites are claiming that it was overheard in a coffee shop from some GMA staff carelessly talking about the get go of the reality show. According to these sites, JC Carlo Tioseco was named first Pinoy Sole Survivor!
On my own point of view, I wouldn’t take this “news” that fast. It was divulged before that as of the press time, there are still two survivors waiting for the final airing of the show. This basically means that the jury’s votes are in but the announcement will be done on a LIVE airing. GMA has made great steps to make the show float in very high ends. Making the show air for a week is much alteration to the original version, and the announcement of the one voted off done in daggling mode to capture higher ratings for the Monday announcement is quite a bummer..
But Paolo Bediones says 95% of it (blog write-up) wasn’t true. Is it about who won or how the story went out? Maybe Paolo should also be warned that if at the end of the show and JC Tiuseco loses, people might think that they’ve manipulated the results. If JC should win, it just means he warned the viewers only to save his *ss and for people to continue watching the show.
Survivor Philippines - Marlon Carmen voted out
November 25, 2008Last night episode of Survivor Philippines, the tally ends at 1 vote for Charisse, 1 vote for Cris (From Marlon) and 4 votes for Marlon. Paolo Bediones didn’t count the remaining votes for it is enough for Marlon Carmen to be voted out. Both admired by and hated by many, Marlon Carmen played the game any way he wants to. He doesn’t care if he steps on other people’s toes just to reach his goal. Manipulative, mischievous, and his slyness didn’t took him to the finals. Although before the tribal council he made his last act in the tribe, he told Paolo Bediones that he kept the tribe’s only source of fire and took out the two camp fire. Now he left the tribe with no fire.
On today’s episode, Rob won the tribal challenge and won his relatives 50,000 (fifty thousand pesos) and some coffee for the tribe.
Now the question is who will make the remaining 15 episodes interesting? Three more fridays and the winner will be reveled.

May the best survivor survive!!!!!Goodluck to all of you guys!!!!

November 11, 2008After being voted off from the tribe, KIko one of the Survivor Philippines Castaway gains the power to make a crucial decision that would affect another tribe member’s fate.
Back at the camp, the remaining members of the tribe seek out the traitors and one tribe member gives up on the alliance.
Both alliances are hanging on a balance and it seems the Castaways are finally on a level playing field.
Traitors among us of the Survivor Philippines?
November 10, 2008Hours before the Tribal Council, the Castaways are making last ditch efforts to save themselves from getting eliminated.
Will Cris and Kaye completely turn their backs on the Naak alliance?
Or will they have a change of heart?

Then came the reward challenge - an auction with several twists. The nine castaways are first grouped into three and each of them should outlast one another staying underwater. The longer they stay underwater, the more money they would get that would be eventually used for the auction.
